Fighting Fit offer a range of classes and courses to help keep you fit and learn self-defence. We are proud of our friendly atmosphere so don’t worry if it’s your first time in a class or in our gym area our instructors and members will make you feel right at home. Please feel free to call the centre and speak to one of our qualified friendly staff who will be happy to give you a class description and advise which one would be most suitable for you. The gym facility is open 10am till 10pm if you just want to do your own workout.

Bujinkai Karate

Bujinkai Karate is a traditional style of Karate developed by Shihan Smith in the 60’s. I'ts taught with a fresh modern approach by Fighting Fit instructors Sensei Shiels a 6th Dan black belt who was on the British karate team for 8 years and Sensei Ealey who is a 3rd Dan black belt.

Bujinkai Karate is mainly a combination of Wada Ryu Karate and Praying Mantus Kung Fu and embodies all that is good in martial arts, kicking, punching, blocking, grappling and evasion. The aim of the system being to utilise the power of karate whilst maintaning the speed and agility of Kung Fu. 

This class is very good for self-improvement and in every class the aim is to focus on each pupil’s personal development.
